About Me
I’m Abiodun Oketunji, a self-taught web designer / developer from London, United Kingdom. I specialise in creating XHTML and CSS compliant websites along with any needed graphics and I’m available for freelance work.
My goal is to provide custom, high-quality web design to individuals, churches, non-profit organizations, and various businesses. My designs follow web standards with accessibility and usability at heart. I’m dedicated to the success of my clients and I am always accessible 24/7 for any inquiries and concerns that they may have about their projects.
Websites are incredible and a great way for you to showcase your products to the millions of internet users, and with technology continuously developing, there appears to be no end to what can be accomplished on the web. Businesses are beginning to lean toward ecommerce solutions in order to expand their customer base and increase sales.
With an ecommerce website, you can sell your products online, as well as accept and verify payments from all major credit and debit cards. An e-commerce website takes your business from small scale to large scale rapidly.
In addition to creating your custom site, I also offer maintenance services, as well as graphic design, registration and hosting set-up. You will never find me busy to assist you and I also work within any budget and can provide payment plans.
I believe that everyone should have a great presence on the internet, and I want to make it happen for you or your organisation. So why not get in touch and we can start discussing your next project?
- Accessibility – XHTML is currently readable by the greatest number of browsers, devices and assistive technologies like screen readers. Accessibility is quickly becoming a legal issue.
- Adherence – The strict guidelines set results in cleaner code. All extraneous or ambiguous elements are eliminated, so pages are smaller, load faster, and render correctly in all browsers.
- Consistency – Through the use of CSS the same style elements can be applied to every page of a site. From the first page onwards, visitors will be presented with a consistent design scheme, building their comfort level and effectively promoting your brand.
- Maintenance – As stated CSS is very consistent so changes to the style of font’s, header title’s, and almost anything else is simple. You only need to change a few lines of code for it to show all over your website.
- Search Engine Friendly Code – XHTML produces pages that search engine spiders find easy to understand. There are no presentational elements or bloated code to confuse the spiders, so they’ll crawl everything that matters and rank you accordingly.
